A renowned lyricist, advocate, powerful orator, and dedicated social worker, Mr. Majgainya was recognized for his outstanding and multidimensional contributions to literature, music, law, social justice, and community development. The honor was formally presented during the auspicious occasion of the 9th National Rapati Music Award – 2082, marking a significant milestone in his two decades of influential service.

Mr. Majgainya, a permanent resident of Tulsipur, Dang, and currently based in Kathmandu, was born as the eldest son of Mr. Hariprasad Pokhrel and Mrs. Mina Sharma. For more than twenty years, he has remained continuously active, committed, and influential in the fields of literary practice, mass communication, legal advocacy, and social service. Mr. Majgainya’s social contributions extend to immediate relief for fire-affected settlements in the Dang–Deukhuri area, as well as the facilitation of medical treatment for patients from the Rapati region through strategic coordination with hospitals.
