Kathmandu- In 2015, the Nepali musical and literary landscape witnessed a landmark event with the release of the ghazal album “Paribhasha,” a solo lyrical creation by Shashi Sharma Majgainya. The launch, held at the historic Sarwanam Theatre in Kalikasthan, Kathmandu, was organized by Rapati Samaj Kathmandu and attended by hundreds of prominent figures from the arts. The album was ceremoniously released by a distinguished panel of guests, including constitutional expert and legendary singer-composer Dr. Bhimarjun Acharya, renowned ghazal writer Lalijan Rawal, and the legendary music maestro Deepak Jangam, alongside other cultural icons.

The album is a masterpiece of collaboration, featuring solo musical compositions by the celebrated and record-breaking composer Santhosh Shrestha. The soul-stirring lyrics of Majgainya were brought to life by a stellar lineup of Nepal’s most iconic vocalists, including Anju Pant, Narendra Pyasi, Pramod Kharel, Bindu Pariyar, Sudha Ratna, Prem Prakash Oli, and Sharad Sagar Adhikari. Critics and attendees alike praised the work, noting that Majgainya, already well-known for his deep connection to the ghazal form, had delivered an album that would stand as a definitive contribution to the genre.
